New York City Engagement Session – Teddy + Sarah
During my visit to New York city a few months ago, I also set up an engagement session with my childhood friend, Sarah (we’ve known each other since 7th grade!) and her fiance, Teddy. Sarah & Teddy are getting married in NYC this coming May, and I was so excited to meet the fiance of one of my dearest friends. From everything Sarah told me about him, I was sure he was going to be an amazing guy, but I wanted to find out for myself. Right away, I had a really good feeling about him as we all shared a pitcher of beer at Old Town Bar and just got to know each other. Teddy is kind and has a warm, open, genuine spirit about him. He didn’t even make it a big deal when I clumsily knocked my glass over and spilled beer all over him! I wasn’t drunk, I was just really excited about showing them these photos on the back of my camera!! I mean, check out this gorgeous, classic, look-like-they-could-be-in-an-old-timey-movie couple!
I mean, can you even deal with how great they look together?! But beyond looking great together, I could tell Teddy & Sarah match up on a much greater level. I’ve known Sarah for a long time and she is one of the most encouraging and inspiring friends I’ve ever had. She’s actually the one who got me into photography many, many years ago. (Oh, and did I mention, she is also an amazing photographer ?!) I’m so thrilled she has found someone to share her life with, and after meeting Teddy, I think he realizes what a catch Sarah is…I think you can see it in this last picture.
Sooo excited to attend their wedding in May! I’m not the “official” photographer, but I’m sure I’ll have my camera in hand and maybe I’ll share a few shots on here from their day. Stay tuned!
