Oh boy, Oh boy!! I am soooooo excited to share these photos from my dear friends Cheyenne & Priscilla’s wedding! This couple may be the sweetest, most precious couple you will ever meet. I only met them a few years ago, but they are friends that I feel like I’ve known my whole life. Knowing the type of friends and people they are, I had a feeling their wedding was going to be a really special one…filled with love and fun and lots of family and friends surrounding them and celebrating their love. That is exactly what the day was like and I was honored to be the one they asked to capture it. So, let’s get on with showing the photos, ok?
This was the last of three weddings I photographed this January, and we lucked out with a beautiful, sunny, temps in the mid-50s kind of day. I showed up to the church early to capture Priscilla getting glammed up and some shots of their beautiful details.

They found a precious, beautiful church in Gallatin, TN to hold the ceremony. It seemed the perfect size to fit all their guests, and I loved how it photographed. Here’s one of my favorite shots of the day of Priscilla waiting behind the back door of the church, just before she walked down the aisle to Cheyenne.

It was a sweet, heartfelt ceremony led by Cheyenne’s dad.

Right after the ceremony, I had a few moments with just the newlyweds. It was a very emotional, but sweet moment. Priscilla shed a few tears of joy, and Cheyenne was there to hold his new bride.

This couple is GORGEOUS and I could not take a bad shot of them! Here are a lot of shots of the two of them, but I just could not narrow it down.

They also had a gorgeous, FUN bridal party!

One of my favorite details from this wedding is how they had the flower girl wear a black dress and yellow shoes like all the bridesmaids, instead of the traditional white dress like the bride.

Yellow is Priscilla’s favorite color and I love how it was incorporated throughout the wedding day, including this amazing car they drove to the reception. Also, how much do you LOVE that sunlight behind them?!

I have to pause in the middle of this blog post and give major props to Amanda Jerkins Design for the ridiculously AMAZING floral design and arrangements. Loved how they decided to have corsages instead of bouquets for all the bridesmaids. And I was in awe of the the simple, yet beautiful table centerpieces at the reception. They fit the decor of the wedding perfectly!

The reception was held at an old train depot off the main street of the town square. It was a wide open rustic space, and after decorated, was an excellent venue and plenty of space for lots of tables and a dance floor.

They had The Hog Slop String Band play music and lead everyone in some good old fashioned square dancin’!

At the end of the night, the remaining guests lined up and tossed seeds at the two love birds as they made their get away.

It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple and I’m so excited for Cheyenne & Priscilla! I know they will have many, many, many years of love and happiness.
You beautifully captured the sweetness of this couple – and I don’t even know them!
I do know them, especially Priscilla and you did an amazing job capturing their essence! Thank you so much for sharing!
