New York City Family Photography – Shaun/Tamara/Rachel/Juliet

Oh man! I’m sooooo excited about this blog post!! I went up to New York city a few months ago to visit some friends and just enjoy the city. I lived there for a few years and I find that I really like getting back there once a year if I can, to just be in the city and be inspired and take in all it has to offer. NYC is still awesome, in case you were wondering. I posted something on Twitter or Facebook about my upcoming trip and Shaun (who I knew from when I lived there) contacted me about setting up a family photo session. I photographed Shaun and Tamara, his lovely wife, when they were pregnant with their first baby girl, Rachel. Well now they have another beautiful daughter, Juliet and Rachel is a toddler! It’s crazy how time flies. We had to battle with the weather a bit, but we were able to set a day when it wasn’t downpour raining and cold and we met at The High Line park in Chelsea. I about fell over when I saw how ADORABLE Rachel and Juliet were, and how the whole family looked like they were dressed for a Gap ad. And I’m now officially obsessed with The High Line. If I still lived in NYC, I’d be shooting there all the time. I thought it was the perfect backdrop for this session. Check out this gorgeous family!
