For my last wedding for 2010, I had the privilege of photographing Sam & Kelly’s special day. I remember when I first met with them to discuss their wedding day, I instantly felt at ease with them and excited as they told me about what they had planned so far. I left the meeting hoping they would book with me, and I was thrilled when they called me back to book a few days later. I had a wonderful time photographing Sam & Kelly on their wedding day, and I loved seeing this couple’s genuine love and respect for each other, as well as their family and friends excitement over them joining together. I could tell that they really just love being around each other, and their love is the real deal. Sam & Kelly, thanks for trusting me to capture these memories for you.
I love me some lens flare and beautiful sunlight.

The day started at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, where Kelly and the girls had time to relax and get ready.

We met up with the guys at the Belcourt Theater, where the ceremony was to take place. I loved that they picked such a unique place to get married. We were able to use the theater and surrounding areas to get these great shots. I love all the color!

We had some time after the ceremony to get more shots of just Sam & Kelly. The sunlight was magical, and I love having time with a newly married couple right after the ceremony. They are usually oozing with gushy love for one another and so happy that it makes for great images like these.

We then headed over the The Smith House at The Standard, a VERY awesome location for a reception.

There were sweet, thoughtful toasts to the couple and lots of dancing and celebration.

I love this last shot of Sam & Kelly dancing, how she is nuzzled up against his cheek and how happy he looks.

Congratulations to you two! I wish you all the best!
